It is Agreed that:- 
The Instructor shall make her services available to the Pupil for the sole
purpose of giving the Pupil driving (including theory) tuition at the rate per
lesson as from time to time shall be agreed.
 
The lesson fee shall be paid in advance or at the beginning of each lesson.
 
The Instructor shall have the right to substitute another instructor for the
purposes of giving all or any of the lessons if the Instructor is not available
for any reason whatsoever.
 
In the event that the Instructor is unable to substitute another instructor
for a specific appointment, or in the event of a mechanical breakdown or
other cause, the Instructor reserves the right to rearrange the lesson to a
time convenient to both parties.  JEDI cannot be held responsible for any
costs incurred as a result of the postponement of lessons for any reason.
 
The Instructor will carry motor insurance covering the Pupil whilst driving
the tuition vehicle when accompanied by the Instructor or by a Driving
Standards Agency Examiner.
 
The Pupil agrees that he/she is duly licensed to drive the tuition vehicle,
and meets the DVLA medical and eyesight requirements.
 
If the Pupil fails to give the Instructor a minimum of 48 hours notice
cancelling any lesson, the Pupil shall be liable for the lesson fee in respect
of that lesson.
 
If the Pupil fails to notify the Instructor at least 48 hours prior to the
beginning of any lesson that they wish to shorten that lesson or change
the arranged pick-up point, the Instructor has the right to rearrange
that lesson to a mutually convenient time, and the Pupil shall be liable for
the lesson fee in respect of that original lesson.
 
If at the beginning of the lesson there is no reply at the designated pick-
up point the Instructor will wait for 10 minutes.  If after 10 minutes
contact has still not been made then the lesson will be abandoned and
the Pupil will be liable for payment of the fee.
 
Any Pupil may be refused a driving lesson if the Instructor has reason to
believe that the Pupil is under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or is
otherwise unfit to drive.  The Pupil will be liable for the payment of the
fee.
 
The Instructor will make reasonable efforts to train the Pupil to a high
standard but can in no way be held liable for any errors committed by
the Pupil whilst driving without the Instructor before, during or after a
driving test.
